This is a property that the client required a very high level of specification and design. The property required a full modernisation and improvement and the clients design included a large ground floor extension and a loft conversion.
During the construction of the loft area we were able to establish that the initial engineer design and steel structure would cause a possible issue with the useable space. We instigated meetings with the client , engineer and building control officer to alter and amend the calculations so that the support and heights allowed a much better use of the loft space.
